It is given that the area of a square park is the same as of a rectangular park and side of the square park is 60\; m and the length of the rectangular park is 90\; m

Now, we know that

Area of square = a^2

Area of rectangle =l \times b

Area of square = Area of rectangle

a^2=l \times b

\Rightarrow 90\times b = (60)^2

\Rightarrow b = \frac{3600}{90} = 40 \ m

Therefore, breadth of the rectangle is 40 m
