(a) Class VIII has the minimum number of girls.

Number of girls in class VIII  = $\frac{3}{2}\times 4=6$

(b) Number of girls in class VI = $4\times 4=16$

Number of girls in class V = $\frac{5}{2}\times 4=10$

Therefore the number of girls in Class VI is not less than the number of girls in Class V.
