Slope of tangent = \frac{dy}{dx} = 4x +3 \cos x
at x = 0
\frac{dy}{dx} = 4(0) +3 \cos 0= 0 + 3
\frac{dy}{dx}= 3
Now, we know that
Slope \ of \ normal = \frac{-1}{\ Slope \ of \ tangent} = \frac{-1}{3}
Hence, (D) is the correct option
