Q 1.4 (b) Why can one ignore quantisation of electric charge when dealing with macroscopic i.e., large scale charges?
On macroscopic level, amount of charge transferred is very large as compared to the charge of a single electron. Therefore, we tend to ignore quantisation of electric charge in these cases and considered to be continuous in nature.
When we are dealing with macroscopic scale, quantization of charge then in the value of n large power of 10 is found which removed decimal certainly. So,we ignore law of quantization of charge.
