H_2SO_4 is a very strong acid in water mostly due to its first ionisation to H_3O^+ and HSO_4^-.The ionisation of HSO_4^- to H_3O^+ and SO_4^{2-} is minuscule. That is the reason why Ka2 << Ka1.
