Solution:   We know that ,

                  For    -1leq x< 0,   x=x+1 and

                   For      0leq x< 1,     x=x.

                   	herefore      cos^-1(1)=0;cos^-1(fracsqrt32)=fracpi6;

                  Rightarrow      cos^-1(frac1sqrt2)=fracpi4;cos^-1(frac12)=fracpi3;   

                Rightarrow                             cos^-10=fracpi2.

               	herefore                Df=(0,fracpi2)       and     R(f)=�,1.
