∴ 10% of x° + 40% of 2x = 90°

⇒ (10/100)x + (40/100) × 2x = 90°

⇒ 10x/100 + 80x/100 = 90° ⇒ 90x/100 = 90°

∴ x = (90 × 100)/90 = 100°

Hence x = 100°
