Given, 4 - 3 - 7 = 42

We can write it like this:-

⇒ 7² - (4² + 3²)

⇒ 49 - (16 + 9)

⇒ 49 + 25 = 24

On reversing '24', we  get 42

Similarly, 6 - 3 - 8 = 91

⇒ 8²- (3² + 6² )

⇒ 64 - (9 + 36)

⇒ 64 - 45 =  19

On reversing '19', we  get 91

Also, For, 5 - 3 - 9 = ​

⇒ 9²- (5² + 3²)

⇒ 81 - (25 + 9)

⇒ 81 - 34 = 47

On reversing '47', we  get 74

So,  5 - 3 - 9 = ​74
