Votes in favour of Candidate A  = 47500

Votes in favour of Candidate B  = 47500 + 5000
                                                   = 52500
Total votes = 47500+52500
                  =100000
Percentage of votes in favour of candidate B  = 52500x100/100000

                                                                         =52.5 %
