(a) Define the following terms :

(a)

(i) Power of a lens is the Ability of a lens to converge or diverge light rays/reciprocal of focal length of lens.

(ii) Principal focus of a concave mirror is a point on principal axis at which light ray parallel to principal axis converges after reflection.

(b) For:

(i) Spherical lens,  1/ v − 1/ u = 1/ f

(ii) Spherical mirror, :1/ v + 1/ u = 1/ f

(c) Ray diagram to show the formation of image is-
