(i) a reactive metal reacts with a dilute mineral acid -  Hydrogen gas is evolved

(ii) Salt and water are formed/Oxide gets dissolved

(iii) When a metal of low reactivity is dropped in the salt solution of a metal of high reactivity, no reaction is observed
(iv) When a metal carbonate is treated with acid, Brisk effervescence is observed
