\\\text { Let the speed of the slow train be } x \text { km/hr } \\ \text { Speed of fast train } =(x+10) \text { km/ hr }\\ $ Time taken by slow train to covel 600 $ \mathrm{km}=\frac{600}{\mathrm{x}} \ hr \\ $ Time taken by fast train to cover 600 $\mathrm{km}=\frac{600}{x+10} $hr$ \\ \frac{600}{x}-\frac{600}{x+10}=3 \\ \frac{6 00(x+10)-600x}{x^{2}+10 x}=3 \\ 3\left(x^{2}+10 x\right)=6000\\ x^{2}+10x -2000=0 \\ (x+50)(x-40)=0 \\ x=40 \ \ x = -50 $ (not possible)

Hence the speed of two trains are 40km/hr and 50 km/hrs.
