Base diameter = 24 m 

 base radius = 12 m 

height of cone = 3.5 cm 

Volume = 

\frac{1}{3} \pi r^2 h \\\\ = \frac{1}{3} \frac{22}{7} \times 12^2 \times 3.5 \\\\ = 528 m^3 \\\\ l = \sqrt {(12^2 + 3.5 ^2 )} = 12.5 m

Area of canvas cloth required = CSA = 

= \pi r l \\\\ \frac{22}{7} \times 12 \times 12.5 \\\\ = 471.4 m^2
