Answers (1)

a)Progestasert- It makes uterus unsuitable for implantation.

CuT- Cu ions suppress the sperm motility.

b) Sterilization advised for the male /female partner as a terminal method to prevent any more pregnancies.

In male: part of vas deferens is cut and tied (vasectomy)
In female: a small part of the fallopian tube is removed or tied up (tubectomy)
