Answers (1)

Let the speed of rowing is x and of the stream be y

Speed during upstream= x-y

Speed during downstream=x+y

\\\frac{20}{x+y}=2\\\\2x+2y=20......(1)\\\\\frac{4}{x-y}=2\\\\2x-2y=4...........(2)\\\\\text{solving (1) and (2)}\\\\x=6\ and \ y=4
