The length cut of is 8+8=16 m

So the length of the box is (l) = 48-16 = 32 m 

The breadth of the box is (b) = 36-16 = 20 m
height of box becomes (h) = 8 m
The volume of box = l×b×h=32×20×8=5120 m3
