A shopkeeper bought 24 chairs at the rate of rs 50 per chair. He sold 16 of them at the rate of rs 100 per chair and the remaining at the rate of 80 per chair. find gain or loss percent

Answers (1)

Total Cost price = 24x50=1200

Total sells price = 16x100+8x80=2240

Profit = 2240-1200

         = 1040

Profit Percentage = 1040x100/1200

                             = 86.66 %
