Answer:  Let assume the loss from sale of old regiters be \x

profit on selling 10 New registers =\50 Rs.

Total loss =36 Rs.

So , Total loss = Loss from old resisters - profite from new registers

\ Rightarrow 36=x-50Rightarrow x=86

So , loss from old register is 86 Rs. , however loss from one old register is 2 Rs.

Hence total old registers sold= 86/2=43 old registers
