A two digit number is such that the tens digit exceeds thrice the units digit by 3 and the number obtained by interchanging the digits is 2 more than twice the sum of the digits. Find the sum of the digits of number

Given, 10X+Y

X=3Y+3

10Y+X = 2X+2Y+2

10Y+3Y+3 = 6Y+6+2Y+2

13Y+3 = 8Y+8 --> 5Y=5 --> Y = 1

X=3Y+3 = 6

Therefore sum of digits = 7
