Although this is not a question of Mathematics it is question of Physics but I have answered.

this is formula of finding focal length using displacement method.

  f=fracD^2-Delta ^24*D?

Where f represents focal length

            Δ representsdisplacement of lens done in order to get image again on screen.

           D represents  distance between object and screen.

  f=frac10^2-2^24*10

  f=2.4 , cm
