Hub is a networking device that functions on the physical layer and is used to connect multiple devices in a network. Generally used in LAN to connect computers.
It has multiple ports to which the computers are connected and when data is received, it passes on the data packet to every connected computer.
It does not look for the destination of the packet but shares it among all the computers connected to it.
