(a) Anionic detergents an sodium salts of sulphonated long chain alcohols or hydrocarbons. Alkyl hydrogensulphates formed by treating long chain alcohols with concentratred with alkali to fprm these.
(b) limited spectrum antibiotics are those antibiotics which are effective against a single organism or disease.
(c) Antisephtics are chemical substances which prevent the growth of microorganisms and may even kill them, They are safe to be applied on living tissues.
