Solution: Let  y=sec(log x^n) . putting x^n=v , u=log x^n=log v , we get

               y=secu , u=log v  and v=x^n

	herefore            fracmathrmd ymathrmd u=sec u. tan u   , fracmathrmd umathrmd v=frac1v   and fracmathrmd vmathrmd x=n . x^n-1

Now ,     fracmathrmd ymathrmd x=fracmathrmd ymathrmd u	imes fracmathrmd umathrmd v	imes fracmathrmd vmathrmd x

Rightarrow         fracmathrmd ymathrmd x=sec u . tan u 	imes frac1v	imes n x^n-1

Rightarrow        fracmathrmd ymathrmd x= sec(log x^n).tan (log x^n)	imes frac1x^n	imes n x^n-1=fracnx	imes sec(log x^n). tan (log x^n)
