on differentiating equation (i) w.r.t x, we get
\frac{dy}{dx}= e^{\sqrt{3x}}\times \sqrt{3}\times \frac{1}{2}x^{-\frac{1}{2}}
        = \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}\frac{e^{\sqrt{3x}}}{\sqrt{x}}
