(i) Mixing up of signals from different transmitters.

\Rightarrow Suppose, many transmitters are transmitting baseband information signals simultaneously.

\Rightarrow All there signals will get mixed up.

\Rightarrow So, if the original low-frequency baseband message or signal is translated to high-frequency wave, mixing up of signals can be avoided.

(iii) Effective power radiated by the antenna

\Rightarrow The power radiated is proportional to \left ( \frac{l}{\lambda } \right )^{2}, where l is the length of the antenna and \lambda is the wavelength.

\Rightarrow The effective power radiated by the long-wavelength signal is small. So, connecting the baseband signal to high frequency is needed.
