Solution:  We have ,

                                y=frac1x^2-2x+3

                 \Rightarrow y=frac1x^2-2x+3=frac1(x-1)^2+2

             Thus , range is (0,frac12].

       As ,   (x-1)^2+2> 0

        Thus , domain is all real number R.
