How does Water rise in tall trees?

Water rise in tall trees because of Transpiration, it is the process which causes movement of water and minerals from roots through xylem up to the top of a tall tree. There is an anti-gravitational force created due to transpiration of water loss from the leaves which pulls up water from the roots. Evaporation of water molecules from the cells of a leaf creates a suction pressure which pulls water from the xylem cells of roots.
