Let the man initially had x money

When he reached the first temple, the money  get doubled. So, the now man had money to be 2x.

He donates 100. So, Remaining amount = 2x – 100

This again doubles at 2nd temple. So, he had   2(2x-100)=4x-200

He donated 100. So, he had 4x – 200 – 100 = 4x – 300

similarly  again doubling at Temple 3 and donated 100

               2(4x - 300) -100= 8x – 600-100=8x-700

similarly at Again doubling  Temple 4. and donated 100

                2(8x - 700)-100 = 16x – 1500

In the final he had no money so

16x-1500=0

x=1500/16=93.75
Thus, he started from house with Rs.93.75
