If 1 is the zero of the polynomial p(x)= x^3-3x^2-x+3 ; then find the other zeroes.(mention the steps too).

Answers (1)

p(x)= x3-3x2-x+3

p(x) = (x-1)(x2-2x-3)

p(x) = (x-1)(x2-3x+x-3)

p(x) = (x-1)(x-3)(x+1)

Other two zeros are -1, 3.
