\\2 x+y=23...(i) \\ 4 x-y=19 ....(ii)\\ $Equation (i) + Equation (ii)$ \\ 6 x=42 \Rightarrow x=7 \\ $Put value of x in equation (i)$ \\ 2 \times 7 + y =23 \\ y = 9 \\\\ (5y-2x ) = 5 \times 9 - 2 \times 7 \\ = 31\\\\ (\frac{y}{x} -2) = \frac{9}{7} - 2 \\ = -\frac{5}{7}
