Solution: We have,

3f(x)+5f(1/x)=1/x -3 .........(1)\ \Rightarrow 3f(1/x)+5f(x)=x-3 .........(2)

Multiplying (1) by 3 and (2) by 5 and subtracting

We get  ,9f(x)-25f(x)=(3/x-9)-(5x-15)\ \Rightarrow -14f(x)=3/x-5x+6\ \Rightarrow f(x)=1/14(-3/x+5x-6),forall x( eq 0)in R
