If a car runs at 60 km/h, it completes a certain distance in 20 minutes. At what average speed, in kilometers per hour, would this car need to cover the same distance in 15 minutes?

Answers (1)

Speed of the car = 60 km/h

Distance traveled in 20 minutes = 60/3 = 20km

Lets assume a new speed of the car = x km/h

Distance traveled in 15(1/4 h) minutes = 20km

1/4 = 20/x

x = 80 km/h
