If someone one hit our stomach it hurts us badly. But in case of our chest above your heart, it does not hurt so much. Why?

This is because of the protection of Rib Cages on our chest. As you can see, our stomach doesn't have any protection of bones and it contains our digestive system and organs covered with a muscular layer only, but in case of our chest we have a protection of rib cage.
