If the lines x + y + 1 = 0 ; 4x + 3y + 4 = 0 intersect at x,y then find x,y

Answers (1)

 x + y + 1 = 0 ...(i)

4x + 3y + 4 = 0...(ii)

Equation (ii) - 3xequation (i)

4x + 3y + 4 - 3x - 3y - 3 = 0

x = -1

Put value of x in equation (i)

-1 + y + 1= 0

y = 0

Hence value of x, y at intersect point is -1, 0 respectively.
