If you had a 5-liter bowl and a 3-liter bowl, and an unlimited access to water, how would you measure exactly 4 liters

Take water in 5 L bowl. Put it to 3-litre bowl. Now 5 L bowl has 2 litres left. Empty the 3 L bowl and transfer the 2L remaining into 3 L bowl. Now fill the five-litre bowl. When you transfer water from 5 L bowl to 3 L only 1 L can be transferred since already 3 L bowl has 2 L of water. So after transfer 4 L is remaining in the 5 L bowl.
