In an exam 14% students failed and 559 students passed determine the number of students who failed

Answers (1)

In an exam 14% students failed, so 86 % students are passed.

 Total students x 86/100 = 559 students

Total students = 559x100/86

                       = 650

Number of failed students = 14x650/100 = 91 students
