Answers (1)

Given DE \parallel BC,    AE = 1.8cm

                             BD = 7.2cm

                             CE = 5.4cm

                             AD = ?

\because DE \parallel BC,

\Rightarrow \frac{AD}{BD} = \frac{AE}{CE} \Rightarrow \frac{AD}{7.2} = \frac{1.8}{5.4} \Rightarrow AD = 2.4 cm
