Solution;    y=3[x]+1   ......(1)

                   y=2[x-1]+1     .......(2)

             Sloving (1) and (2) , we have

                  3[x]+1=2[x-1]+1

                3[x]+1=2[x]-2      .......(3)

    Rightarrow       [x]=-3    ,  y=3(-3)+1=-8

               [x+y]=[x-8]=-11
