Solution:     Writing the given sum  in reverse order ,

                   x=[frac12+frac99100]+[frac12+frac98100]+........+[frac12+frac50100]+......+[frac12]

                Rightarrow    x=1+1+1+....+1  (50 times)+0+0+0........+0(99 times)
