  • Advancing monsoon carries moist winds but retreating carries dry winds.
  • Wind movement in the Advance monsoon is from Sea to land but in the retreating monsoon, it is from land to sea.
  • Maximum rain is brought by Advancing monsoon but not by retreating monsoon.
