ANSWER :

Temperature drop from 5400m =1 degree per 100 m

height of top =8850m

Temperature at base = -5 degree 

height of top from base =8850 - 5400=3450m

total drop in temperature = 3450/100=34.5 degree 

So temperature at top =( -5 -34.5)= -39.5 degree
