best_answer

The President can dissolve the Lok Sabha on the advice of Council of Ministers. As the Prime Minister is head of the Council of Ministers and represent the council of Ministers to President, then the president can dissolve the Lok Sabha on the advice of prime minister. Our constitution also states that the president will act on the advice of Prime minister and his council of ministers. It means he can dissolve Lok Sabha if Prime minister recommends him to do so.
