\Rightarrow A microscope is used to magnify near objects whereas a telescope is used to magnify distant objects.
\Rightarrow The resolving power is the ability to observe two objects distinctly which are placed very close to each other
\Rightarrow The resolving power of a microscope is the inverse of the distance between two objects that can be just resolved whereas the resolving power of the telescope is dependent on angular separation.
Resolving power for telescope
                   \bigtriangleup \theta = \frac{1\cdot 22\lambda }{d}
Resolving power = \frac{1}{\bigtriangleup \theta }= \frac{d}{1\cdot 22\lambda }
Resolving power for microscope,
\bigtriangleup d= \frac{\lambda }{2n\sin \theta }
Resolving power = \frac{1}{\bigtriangleup d}= \frac{2n\sin \theta }{\lambda }
\Rightarrow  So the microscope is the one that plays a role in magnifying and resolving the two objects kept close to each other.
