Let length of rectangle be x and breadth be y

Length is 2 units more than its breadth

  herefore    x=y+2 

        x-y=2

We know that Perimeter of rectangle = 2(x+y)

Perimeter of rectangle is 32 units is given 

herefore    2(x+y)=32

herefore          x+y=16 

  so, pair of linear equation for given problem are

       x-y=2  ;  x+y=16
