Please solve: 9x^2 - 18x + 2 = 0

We have to use Shri Dharacharya formula here,

            - B  ±  √( B2-4AC)
  x =   ————————
                      2A
 In our case,  A   =    9
                      B   =   -18
                      C   =   2

Accordingly,  B2 - 4AC   =
                     324 - 72 = 252

               18 ± √ 252
   x  =    ——————
                      18

The value of x is:-

 x =(18+√252)/18=  1.882

or

 x =(18-√252)/18=   0.118
