 \begin{aligned} &\text { Given, } f=20 \mathrm{cm}, u=-20 \mathrm{cm}, v=?\\ &\text { As, } \frac{1}{f}=\frac{1}{v}+\frac{1}{u}\\ &\frac{1}{v}=\frac{1}{f}-\frac{1}{u}\\ &\frac{1}{v}=\frac{1}{20}+\frac{1}{20}\\ &\frac{1}{v}=\frac{2}{20}\\ &v=10 \mathrm{cm} \end{aligned}

So, the distance of the image from the pole of the mirror is 10cm.

Ans since v is positive so the image will be formed behind the mirror​
