Let Ram's age = a

Let Ravi's age = b

Given that,

a + 7 = b

and

a + 4 = 1/2 ( b + 4 )

b = 2a + 4

We get a = 3 year and b = 10 year

sum of their ages next year = 3+1+10+1=15 year
