Let's assume Ram has 24 apples (6 X 4) in the beginning.

On Saturday, he sold 6 apples ( 1/4 th of 24). hence, the remaining apples will be 18.

On Sunday, he sold 3 apples (1/6 th of 18). hence. remaining apples will be 18 - 3 = 15

now if he had 24 apples in the first case then he is left with 15 apples and in the question, he is left with 150 apples, hence he had initially 240 apples.
