Solve 2x-y+3=0, 3x-7y+10=0 by sustitution method

2x-y+3=0 .....(i) 

3x-7y+10=0 

x = (7y - 10)/3

Put value of y in equation (i)

2  (7y - 10)/3 - y + 3 = 0

14 y - 20 - 3y + 9 = 0

11y = 11

y = 1

Put value of y in equation (i)

2x - 1 +3 = 0 

2x = -2

x = -1
