3x/2 + 5y/3 = 7
9x - 10y = 14

Equations now take the shape:

     9x + 10y = 42
     9x - 10y = 14

9x = 10y + 14

x = 10y/9 + 14/9

Plug this in for variable  x  in equation 

  9•(10y/9+14/9) + 10y = 42
               20y = 28

20y = 28 

  y = 7/5 

Use the  y  value to solve for  x 

    x = (10/9)(7/5)+14/9 = 28/9
